About Us

Berkeley County Historical Society was established in 1973. Our mission is to promote historical research, preservation. and education on all of Berkeley County, SC.. The Society endeavors to preserve books, pamphlets, traditions and knowledge pertaining to our county’s history. We also enhance this with our membership with the Confederation of South Carolina Historical Societies.
